I knew IT!
April 4, 2006I knew it’s gonna be Keanna Reeves who will be the BIG WINNER!
Last April 1, 2006, Saturday, held at Manila Post Office was the PINOY BIG BROTHER CELEBRITY EDITION BIG NIGHT. She had the highest number of text votes with 571,607 while John Prats gained 372,198 votes, Bianca Gonzalez gained 245,594 and Zanjoe Marudo gaining the lowest with 103,422 votes.
The votes casted showed that more Filipinos liked Keanna’s character in PBB. She was thought of to be a “nanay”, a comedienne, and a true friend. PBB housemates like Bianca, Roxanne, and John made her as their mom in the house since as a mother of two children, she has the innate motherly nature. As a comedienne, she was able to do some funny antics unconsciously. With her Visayan accent and being “walang pakialam”, she made people laugh. Being a true friend could be the best among the three attributes. It was best manifested when Rustom bared his deepest secret to her. Among all the people why did Russ, as Rustom was fondly called, confided to her his real identity? Anyways, these are just few of the many things that proved her being real or “pagiging totoo” and not just mere facade. But it doesn’t mean that the other housemates were not being themselves. Maybe people just saw it much in her. Another factor could be that people knows she needs the cash more badly than the others knowing her current financial status.
Keanna was known to be a sexy star and was labeled as “kilabot ng senado”. With this line of work in showbiz, she was noted to be “malandi”, “walang alam”, and “walang pinag-aralan”. But those thoughts were proven wrong thanks to the show. She was wable to prove to the whole world that those were merely misconceptions because there’s more to her than meets the eye. Indeed, her image changed into something better.
Has she showed the true character of a PINOY through the Pinoy Big Brother? Supporters may say YES, critics may say NO… But who cares, for Keanna she had the NIGHT of HER LIFE!
BTW, Pinoy Big Brother is a program aired at ABS-CBN.

keanna and her exposure in PBB was a living testimony that people indeed shouldn't judge a book with just its cover.
