Yes you read it right!

Reports say that there has been a trojan horse virus which infects your computer and demands for a ransom. The ransom is said to be paid via Western Union. It is called “ransomware”. Well the name exactly describes how this virus attacks.

my mind has been enitrely empty these days. i feel so helpless. it seems like my mind tells me to do this and yet my body disobeys. people keeps on mumbling, telling me to do this, to do that… “Hey what do you want to do with your life?”… actually not just telling me but pressuring me as if it’s gonna be the end of the world for me. boohoo! I’m not lazy, it’s just I don’t know where to start. there are moments when you must do something and yet you don’t get pumpin’ right away ‘coz you need to look for that perfect spot… timing I may say… I get what people want for me but can I get a little break? I have plans and I want to reach my goals in life. can I get to do it my way? i acknowledge your effort but I also get tired of all the blah blah blah!

Secrets You should Never Tell your Guy…

It has been a nature in every relationship to get intimate with each other. By being intimate, we mean getting too close and getting too comfy with the opposite sex. It is best shown by hugging, kissing, calling terms of endearment, and other sweet nothings. Some couples even don’t mind showing their affection in public. Conservative folks coin it as “PDA” or Public Display of Affection. Getting too intimate causes both parties to share almost everything about each other’s lives and even expose their deepest darkest secrets. It’s due to the fact that in any relationship be it in the family or within friends, the value of trust is build. How much more within two people who spent most of their ample time together. They not only treat their mate as someone special but also as a best friend. But is it appropriate to be blubbering everything about you?

I just read an article from a magazine that there should be limitation on the extent of revealing oneself. Women in particular must avoid telling the following:

1. How nasty your former lover was. Complaining everything about your ex may cause your partner to think that it’s your indirect way of complaining about him. He would most likely think that you’re comparing him with your ex.
2. You hate the way he kisses. Men are quite sensitive in handling things. If you don’t like the way he kisses, then you should tell him how you want to be touched. Tell him gently without touching his ego.
3. Saying, “I’m ugly!”. Women by nature have insecurities particularly on their physical aspect. When you first divulge this to your partner, he will convince you that he likes you just the way you are. Nevertheless, don’t overdo it ’cause you might give him the impression that he doesn’t deserve your love.

It’s always a good gesture to be honest. But it’s also not bad to keep something for ourselves.

Why People tend to be Judgmental?

When you speak so sweet, people say you’re flirtatious…but when you speak too deep, they say you’re being harsh! When you can’t look at someone straight in the eye, you have hidden feelings for him, and when you stare for the longest time possible, you are obssessed with the person!

If these are the common scenarios, then how must one person act? If every move he makes, he is being watched, then how can he express his real self? his emotions? his desires? When everything he does is being judged!    

It’s an innate character of a human being to be judgmental… But is it right to be such? When it’s out of the context then it should be stopped. When people get hurt and people’s dignity are demoralized then it’s not something to be happy about.

As the saying goes, “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover”… or “Put yourself in one’s shoes before you comment!”

Nobody’s perfect so let’s just respect each other… For all we know, we too are being judged!

Just got infected by a new variety of worm…

Pazetus Worm

This type of virus spreads across local networks or through internet via shares disks. The virus searches for computers in its “neighborhood” with shared network drives and then copies itself on them.

For prevention as far as possible do not share whole disks, but only selected folders. It is also advisable to use passwords on shared folders.

We recommend you remove binding to “File and printer sharing” in Bindings Tab under TCP/IP Properties for all TCP/IP protocols (the TCP/IP protocol is usually defined for every LAN or Dial-Up adapter).

Peer-to-peer networks

Next most common method of spreading is by “peer-to-peer” networks (like KaZaA), the virus creates a few copies of itself in folders within the P2P shared system. If these files have got alluring names then there is a good chance somebody will download these files and execute them.

It’s a good think there’s NOD32 Antivirus System installed in the computer laboratory in this institution. My flash disk has been cleaned. But I’m thinkin’ of also gettin’ this checked with AVG and Norton to be completely sure.  Don’t wanna infect my own PC at home…

Unpublished Feelings

Starting a new horizon is such an exciting experience. New things to expect without knowing what lies ahead…

Being in a relationship is such a great feeling, especially when you are with someone you deeply love. It’s worthwhile evenmore when you are mutually in love and when you both experienced it for the first time. You’re like amateurs in a basketball game not knowing what to do in case your opponents steal the ball or new army recruits not prepared for battle… Though unprepared, you are eager and overjoyed…

The god of love once strucked me with an arrow… I guess he must have sprinkled it with too much potion since I have loved more than I loved myself. *grin* Indeed, it happened in an appropriate time when I wanted someone to call my BEAU! Yeah! I love him, I really do! That love withstood the storms which made the relationship stand for years. In any relationship, it’s not always good news… Of course, there were spices and boulders along the way. But in totality, it was worth remembering! I had the best years of my life!

In every entrance there is always an exit… In every opening there is always a closing… And in every beginning there is always an end… And that is what I have been afraid of! And now it reached to that sad point.

Hurt? Of course! My heart beats so fast that it wants to explode! It seems like thorns have been stabbed into it that makes it bleed continuously. Right now, I have been transported in a deserted island where no one can hear me… I am all alone forgotten and left to bleed….bleed until the last drop of my blood…until the vultures savour my body down to my bones…

It could be the end but it’s not yet the end of the world. There is still time… Closed doors could still be opened… Who knows in time if God permits, this chapter would be edited and added with a happy ending…

It’s undeniably a person’s natural attitude to be judgmental. Which sometimes turns out to become a *gossip*!

But when does being judgmental becomes a good one? If you tell it to the person right into his face which is of course for a good cause. That is if you want him to become a better person and leave his unpleasant attitude behind. Or if you just leave your comments within you. 

When does it become a bad one? When you tend to destroy the person’s credibility and his morale… as if you really know him that well… What is more painful if it is your so-called “friend” who does it to you in a way. You even call him “friend”??? Better start reflecting and know who your real friends are! Which is more unpleasant if it becomes a gossip, a pasttime for people to talk about. You become a “laughing stock”. So what’s funny about it?
